Desert Moon Designs

Desert Moon Designs nationally awarded artists Julie Spalla and David Lookingbill have moved and expanded their studios and gallery in the River Arts District.  Come see what everyone is talking about – it’s contemporary – full of creative local artists and sensory experience.

As Desert Moon Designs, we are producing and creating original works for sale in the gallery area of this studio.  Desert Moon Designs will have sculptural and functional fused glass, blown glass, precious metal clay (fine silver) jewelry, mixed media and botanicals.  Our working studios are still a part of the bigger vision to keep handmade arts and craft alive in Western North Carolina.

This summer, we will be introducing several new custom limited edition lines of jewelry in both fused glass, Precious Metal Clay (fine silver) and copper.  We also have jewelry artisans in the gallery full time so you will see imaginative collectibles to heirloom pieces.
